Mirage Activa

Seal and comfort

  • The Mirage Activa™ incorporates ActiveCellâ„¢ technology — ResMed's exclusive, auto-stabilizing cushion technology.
  • ActiveCell technology combines the proven comfort and seal of Mirage's cushion technology with an inflatable chamber that expands and contracts during therapy.
  • ActiveCell technology allows the mask to automatically adapt and respond to changes that occur during sleep, such as changes in body position.
  • Savings in time and cost

  • The mask's innovative design increases efficiency, reduces overall cost and improves compliance.

  • With one headgear clip released from the mask, place the mask cushion on your nose and pull the headgear over the head.
  • Connect the free headgear clip to the mask frame.
  • Adjust the upper and lower headgear straps until the mask cushion sits loosely on your face, with the forehead pads lightly touching the forehead.
  • If the forehead pads do not touch the forehead, adjust the forehead support by depressing the tab.
  • To move the tab up, tilt the pads forward. To move the tab down, tilt the pads backward.
  • Connect one end of the main air tubing to the flow generator and the other end to the mask swivel.
  • Connect the mask elbow to the mask frame. Then push firmly until it clicks into place.
  • Turn the flow generator on and allow the cushion to inflate. If there are air leaks around the cushion, lift the mask slightly off your face and reposition it.
  • You may need to readjust straps and/or forehead support. Do not overtighten straps — ensure that the mask cushion's ActiveCell chamber is moderately and evenly inflated.
